How do Brainobrain compare to Kumon?
Brainobrain is very different from Kumon as we do not teach in a traditional tutoring way. We are teaching whole brain development skills that will impact on all school subjects including maths, science and English. I understand that Kumon teach via extra classes in the same subjects. Our classes are fun and very different from \'revision\' type classes.

Do I have to book and pay before I have the entry interview?
Yes, you must pay before a interview is booked for your child however we do provide full refunds if your son/daughter does not succeed in passing the aplication proccess at that time.

I was looking to give my son extra maths and English tuition in Bristol and I stumbled across your site. Would my son's grades improve as a result of brainobrain classes? Does it act as a replacement for Maths and English classes outside of the school curriculum?
Brainobrain is more effective than private tuition or extra tuition classes. Because we limit our classes to only 15 students, your son would receive 1-to-1 tuition as well as group support in class. Brainobrain is about teaching and learning life skills whilst developing your sons whole brain - both left and right brain development. Brainobrain is not about teaching Maths or English but it does dramatically help in ALL SCHOOL SUBJECTS. We believe that with the right skills, your son can develop the right knowledge. To learn more, please see: http://www.brainobrain.co.uk/abacus.php

When does my child get their abacus to start practising? He is really keen to get started. Many thanks!
Your abacus and learning pack will be sent out on the same day of booking and before the classes that you have booked onto. If you have not received your pack within 3 days of booking please call your nearest Brainobrain office or email us on info@brainobrain.co.uk

Is my child the right age for your brain development program?
Our classes are for 5 to 15 years and age groups are split up by class and date. please visit: http://www.brainobrain.co.uk/courses.php for further details.

Can I receive Brainobrain private tuition?
Brainobrain is a style of classroom private tuition / tuition class and is taught for 2 hours per week. Extra classes can be booked if your child falls behind in the syllabus. We do offer traditional 'tutoring' sessions outside of our classes and these can be booked by clicking onto the 'join a class' tab at the top.

What is the approval process and how do my children get accepted to study the Brainobrain skills?
The approval process should be fun and is set to asses children and parents on their commitment to learning new and exciting skills. We assess commitment by inviting children to a short Brainobrain™ interview. We are looking for examples of commitment in children and therefore ask children to prepare one of the following: a collage of their favourite sports personality / pop artist / cartoon character, a short story of their choice (between 150-300 words max), a drawing of something they have achieved, learning’s from a school project, a short written description about their favourite hobby / sport (between 150-300 words max), a short demonstration of an instrument they can play (instrument and/or voice). a short discussion on their favourite book / poem. The preparation for the interview should be fun and enjoyable for the child.

Is brainobrain as good as private tuition or tutoring classes?
Our classes take no more than 15 children per class. With the added advantage of the socialisation aspect of our classes, we help children to develop their communication skills. As well as the obvious whole brain development skills gained through Brainobrain, we also advocate good manners and kindness to others - a class environment is ideal for this. Please also remember that we are teaching life skills, not knowledge of subjects - these life skills are best taught in the company of others.
