How Brainobrain works...

Firstly Brainobrain™ classes are FUN! Evidence shows that children learn when they are having fun. Each class is made up of the following skills:

 Brain Gym & Neurobics skills

Benefits include improvements in learning, vision, memory, expression, and movement abilities, in both young people and adults. In the classroom, teachers typically report improvements in attitude, attention, homework, behaviour, and academic performance for the entire class.

 Abacus training

Brainobrain uses mental arithmetic skills to enhance mind power, INCREASE BRAIN PRODUCTIVITY and DOUBLE the mental abilities in children. Children are taught how to do complex equations in their heads, quickly and accurately, using an abacus. Our syllabus involves no mathematics, simply ‘magic’ words that go together with the movement of the beads on the abacus (visual, auditory and kinaesthetic learning). Using visualisation and other state of the art techniques, such as BRAIN GYM and RHYMES, children then move through the different Brainobrain™ levels. After just one level your child will ACHIEVE BETTER GRADES, become MORE CONFIDENT and be on their way to HAPPIER AND BRIGHTER FUTURE.

 Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP)

Children learn tools and techniques modelled from NLP (The study of the difference that makes the difference). NLP teaches us strategies, tools and techniques to aid better spelling, communication with others, confidence, values and beliefs, enhanced memory, linguistic tools, more effective learning skills and key forward thinking presuppositions such as ‘feedback is information - there is no failure only feedback’ & ‘Everyone has all the internal resources that they need’ .

 Inspirational information

In combination with NLP, children learn from some of the world's most inspirational characters. For example, learning about Thomas Edison (He created the light bulb) in combination with the NLP presuppositions like ‘there is no failure only feedback’ – It took Thomas Edison many years to create the perfect bulb that we use in our homes today and he received a lot of feedback but never failed. Children present their findings in groups from the scripts we give them. Children are also taught how to present individually to the group. We believe in empowering children and they are encouraged to return home after each class to teach their parents these revolutionary skills.
